ClassEka.com is a website built specifically for sharing tuition class details in Sri Lanka. If you are a teacher, this is the best place to publish your tuition class information. If you are a student, our well organized and detailed search functionality will help you to find the best tuition classes that are suited for your requirement.

Not only that, there are number of other functionalities built specifically for tutors and students. Some of them are,

1. The students are able to write a recommendation for their teachers and give a rating mark for them.
2. The tuition wanted section to add students tuition class requirements.
3. Ability to subscribe for a class by Following them. This will add the class to students My Class List.
4. It is possible to get the details of your classmates, who are following the same class, and to send emails directly to them through this system.
5. For teachers also it is possible to get the list of students who are ‘Following’ his/her classes. Also it is possible to send emails to all the class at once.

How to register in ClassEka.com

1. It is very easy to register in ClassEka.com.
2. First click on the Register Now link.
3. Decide your Email and password and provide your email address. Submit the form.
4. In the next page you will need to provide additional details to fill your profile.
5. When you submit this information, we will send you an email to the specified email address.
6. It is necessary to click on the link available in the received email to verify your email address.
7. In case of any issues please contact us through the contact us form. We will help you to proceed with the registration.

I am a teacher. How do I publish my tuition class information?

1. For this, first you have to register as a teacher in our system.
2. Then, login to the system using your Email and password.
3. Click on the Add Tuition link and submit your tuition class information.
4. If you are conducting more than one class, please add them separately.
5. If any tuition class information is invalid, it is possible to remove the class by using the Remove Class functionality.

How to remove a class?

1. Login using your Email and Password.
2. Go to the My Classes link under your profile.
3. Click on the more details >> button of the tuition class that you want to remove.
4. On the Tuition Class Details page click the Remove button.

How can I become a top rated teacher?

Registered students can give a rating and write a recommendation for their teachers. We will display those ratings together with the average rating score in teachers' profiles. We believe this will enable good quality teachers to achieve a higher rating.

Furthermore, we expect this will indirectly help to improve the quality of the service provided by teachers.

1. Login using your Email and password.
2. Search for the teacher.
3. Go to the Teachers Profile page.
4. Click on the button Recommend this teacher available in the teacher's profile.
5. Write a recommendation and select your rating.
6. Click on Submit.

How to add students to my classes?

1. Students need to create their own profiles.
2. Once a student logs in, they can see the Follow this class button in the Tuition Class Details page.
3. When students are Following your classes you can see them under My Students.

How do I authorize the recommendations written for me?

It is entirely your choice to decide whether you are going to authorize the recommendations written by students to show in your public profile.

The recommendations will not be visible in your public profile until you verify and authorize them.

To authorize recommendations,

1. Login using your Email and password.
2. Go to the My Recommendations page.
3. In each recommendation there is a button called Authorize this comment.
4. Carefully read the comment and authorize it to show in the public profile.
5. Please note that the given rating will always be visible in your public profile.

How do I send an email to all my students?

1. Login using your Email and password.
2. Click on the My Students link available under your profile.
3. You can see all the students who are Following your classes.
4. Click on the Send email to all my students link.
5. Compose the message and click Send.

Register as a student

1. Click on the Register now link and provide your registration details.
2. In the next step, complete the profile providing your details and qualifications.
3. You will receive an email to the registered email account. Click on the activation link (or call us to activate your account).
4. Now you are registered as a student.

How do I post my tuition class requirements?

1. Login using your Email and password.
2. Click on the Tuition Wanted menu link.
3. Click Post >> under the Post your requirement section.
4. Fill in the form to provide your tuition class requirement details and click save.

How to follow classes?

1. Login using your Email and password.
2. Once logged in you can see the Follow this class button in the Tuition Class Details page.
3. When you are Following a class you could get important email alerts from your teacher.
4. This also enables you to see your classmates.

How can I find my classmates?

1. Login using your Email and password.
2. To see your classmates, first you have to Follow a class.
3. Go to the My Classmates link under your profile.
4. Select a class from the list.
5. You will see a list of students who are Following the same class under each class id.

How ratings and recommendations work?

Registered students can give a rating to their teacher, and they can also write a recommendation.

To recommend a teacher,

1. Login using your Email and password.
2. Search for the teacher.
3. Go to the Teachers Profile page.
4. Click on the button Recommend this teacher available in the teacher's profile.
5. Write a recommendation and select your rating.
6. Click Submit.

How do I send an email to all my classmates?

1. Login using your Email and password.
2. Go to the My Classmates link under your profile.
3. You can see a list of other students Following the same class.
4. Click on the Send email to all classmates link.
5. Compose the message and click Send.
